NDLI: Inspects Korea bound Greek troops King Paul salutes as he inspects the Greek battalion, Nov. 14, before it embarked the following day from Piraeus, port city for Athens, enroute to Korea. Greece had offered a brigade to serve with United Nations' forces under General Douglas MacArthur, but this was reduced to a battalion, when Allied forces met with successes in their campaign.
