Description	Birds-eye view print shows plan of the fortress of Carolsburg built on the confluence of the Geest and Weser Rivers, Germany in 1675 with a depiction of the villages of Geestendorf and Lehe to the south. Includes views of ships on the river, a tent and charging troops on horseback across the river. Key garrisons and activities are pointed out within the fortress and are labeled A-K in print. In the right foreground two men carrying a pike and a gun stand next to a tree overlooking the scene below the town. Scale given in 100 Ruhten. The fortress of Carolsburg was later destroyed and the site is where Bremerhaven, Germany (founded in 1827) is now located.
