Description | Print shows an oblique view of the third Capitol building of the state of Indiana; the Greek revival style building, patterned after the Parthenon, was designed by Ithiel Town & Alexander J. Davis, architects. Also shows the "plan of the principal floor" with a colonnade forming the peribolus. Construction was completed in 1835, by the mid-1870s it was condemned and torn down in 1878. |
