Description | Postcard shows exterior front elevation of granite block fort, centered on entrance, cannon to the right of the entrance, wooden outbuilding to the left, and top of the lighthouse above the roofline. Fort Rodman is located on Clarks Point, the southernmost point of the city which sticks out into Buzzards Bay. Visible above the roofline is Clarks Point Lighthouse which once stood alongside the granite structure. It was later added to the second tier of the structure. |
