NDLI: Pie Town, New Mexico. A community settled by about 200 migrant Texas and Oklahoma farmers who have filed homestead claims Homesteader and his wife in the living room of their new adobe house. This couple came out seven years ago from Oklahoma, and lived in a log cabin until they built the adobe house that winter.
