Description | Eight-panel comic strip shows Garfield, a cat, plotting to capture three baby birds frolicking in a birdbath. He picks up the birdbath which spills and the birds fly away. He then pretends to be a birdbath, filling his own large mouth with water from a hose. A bird, indeed, returns, but it turns out to be the enormous mother bird. Garfield, first drawn by Jim Davis in 1978, now appears in more than 2000 publications and has inspired thousands of products. |
