Description | Four panel comic strip shows Burma, getting dressed, talking to a young Chinese girl who suggests she knows something about Burma's friends. Burma speculates that the only people they know in common are Terry and Connie, but she decides to "play cagey." Terry and the Pirates was an adventure strip begun in 1934 featuring Terry and his older friends (including Connie, the Chinese coolie) in China. Burma, a warm-hearted but slightly tarnished blonde, was one of the notable women that peopled the strip. |
