Description	Album of engravings assembled and affixed to pages by Constantino Brumidi, interspersed with his design drawings. Engravings, primarily from Jean Le Pautre's Œuvres d'architecture... (1751), include architectural decorations and ornaments (acanthi, chimney pieces, festoons, friezes, grotesques, medallions, rinceaux, and trophies); alcoves; arches; cartouches; fountains; niches; panels; containers (pitchers, salt cellars, samovars, and urns) and vases decorated with male and female figures, angels, mythological creatures and foliage. Sketches and studies for architectural and mural decoration include friezes, male warrior figures and heads and other ornamental details; renderings.
