Includes views of the Zwinger, designed by Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann, built between 1711-22 with views of sculptures by Balthasar Permoser; the Frauenkirche, constructed between 1726-38, including an interior view; the Koselpalais built in 1744; the Katholische Hofkirche built between 1738-46, with interior and exterior views; and external views of the Japanisches Palais, built between 1719-1729. Associated with the "Führerauftrag Monumentalmalerei," an official German project to photograph immovable works of art threatened by bombing during the war, 1943-1945. |
