Includes examples of marbling plates and actual texture cuts. Also includes American trade paper covers and printing history curiosities, 1879-1907 including flyer about the Ramage printing press that printed Confederate bills during the American Civil war; rural newspaper office in Florida and 1893 World's Fair souvenir. Includes examples of Chaos type, introduced by J.F. Earhart in New York in 1883, masthead examples of American printers technical journals American Model Printer, The American Arts Printer and the Superior Printer from 1879-1891 and an engraved portrait of A.W. Haight. Includes actual dies cut from celluloid including engraved cuts by A.M. Watzulik.
