| Description | These photographs represent selections from Rogovin's "Lower West Side" series, featuring portraits of Buffalo residents photographed over a twenty-year period (from 1972 to 1994). Images show subjects at various stages of life: in youth, with spouses or companions, with children and grandchildren, alone or with personal possessions. Some of Rogovin's original subjects (first photographed in 1972) are represented over time only through their children or other relatives.
