Description | Nine-panel comic strip in which Tillie Jones is out on a date with Mac MacDougall, the office boy. When she is introduced to Mr. Van Easel, she agrees to dance with him, leaving Mac alone at the table. Mr. Van Easel's intentions are less than honorable and Tillie slaps him when he refuses to let her go. Van Easel tells her the slap cost her a career. Tillie returns to Mac, who tells her as he drives her home, that she is sitting next to her career. |
