Using the motif of the legendary lumberman Paul Bunyan, comments on the Minnesota presidential primary in March 1952 in which General Dwight D. Eisenhower received almost as many write-in votes as did Stassen who was running in his home state. (Neither Taft or MacArthur had their names on the ballot.) |
