Description | Four-panel comic strip shows P.T. Bridgeport (a bear reminiscent of the famous circus impresario, P.T. Barnum) discussing with Bun Rabbit the fate of the baby chick whom he had groomed as "The Rooster Aerialist." Unfortunately "in El Paso, he laid an egg! Blamed it on atmospheric conditions ... promised not to do it a-gain! But I never knew when ... and him up over the crowd on a high wire [so] he went to pot ...." This is one of a series of strips in which Bridgeport tries to organize a circus. |
