NDLI: Wartime food demonstration. Winners of the butterless, sugarless cake made at a wartime food demonstration were, Mrs. Victor Brusher and Mrs. M.L. Cuadle, both of Alexandria, Virginia. Attending all such meetings held at the housing settlement where they live, both women have found the demonstrations helpful in wartime cooking and buying
