This young soldier is one of many children cared for in the day nursery conducted by girls in the home economics course at Montgomery High School, Silver Spring, Maryland. The project, in addition to releasing Silver Spring housewives for war work, provides girls of the scholl's Victory Corps with practical experience in community service
