NDLI: Fort Knox. Bridge construction trucks. Driver of a special bridge truck used by engineer units attached to the armored forces. Equipped with winches and crane members, these trucks make short work of transporting treadway bridge sections and laying them on pontoons. This particular truck is in use at Fort Knox, Kentucky, where soldiers are being trained in the use of armored equipment
