NDLI: Tin can alley leads to victory. Used tin cans, which in normal times would be discarded and forgotten, are transported to a de-tinning plant where they will undergo reclaiming processes. Much of the tin reclaimed from these cans will be used on more cans containing foodstuffs for American soldiers abroad
