Description | Jahar Peer is another name for Goga Ji, the eponymical ruler of Dadrewa, Rajasthan. He was believed to be born to Queen Bachchal by the blessings of Guru Gorakhnath. He is also believed to be an incarnation of the Snake god with abilities to cure snake bite and thus the name Jahar, derived from 'zehar'/poison.
