Description | Bheel - The Son of Nature (English) Colour PRAKRATI PUTRA- BHEEL is a documentary film based on the bheel community of Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh Province of India. It has been shot in 16 mm Eastman Colour, Bheel Community is one of the most important and colourful tribal community of MP Province in India which occupies mainly district of Jhabua Dhar and some part of Nimar. In Tribal world also Bheel is one of the most major community. The documentary depicts the land and life of this community, their joy and happiness, their suffering and exploitation. Apart from their custom, tradition and colourful life the film not only establishes relationship of Bheels with the nature but their very innocence is captured. All the rituals in tribal life are recorded season wise in this film and all songs and dances are properly presented. The film tries to give a picture of the daily life of a Bheel from morning to evening and also events through their cultural heritage are depicted for the entire year. The Bheels of Jhabua are known throughout the country because of their famous festival " Bhagoriya" which falls just during Holi celebrations and this film has tried to Focus some other salient features of the life of BHEELS. |
