Description | Text printed on reverse of stereocard: Dearborn Street is one of the main arteries in the downtown district of Chicago. It is not taken up by shops and retail stores, but is rather the home of skyscraper office buildings, which abound on both sides of the street, from the river at the north to Harrison Street on the south. This view is taken near the Post Office, showing a 20-story building at the left and several more in the distance. [A work made of toned gelatin silver print, stereo.] |
